Catterick Integrated Care Campus (CICC)

Since 2015, the NHS and Ministry of Defence (MOD) have been working together on plans to enhance the range of health and care services for Catterick Garrison and the wider Richmondshire area to help address:

  • capacity to support growing numbers of military personnel, dependants and families, as well as the residential population
  • limited service integration and communication
  • lack of parity in terms of service (military vs NHS)
  • mental health and children’s service provision
  • access to services
  • quality of estates
  • rurality and travel

The new facility aims to give military and Richmondshire residents access to the right care, at the right time, in the right setting, delivered by the right professionals to enhance their wellbeing and independence, and improve their overall quality of life.

Where we are now

Tilbury Douglas successfully secured the contract to deliver the design and construction of the new multi-million pound, Catterick Integrated Care Campus. Working with design partners, BDP, the initial concept designs for the project have been developed with planning submission granted in October 2022. Site preparation works are underway with both the NHS and MOD working towards the next phase of the approvals process (Full Business Case).

Engagement took place in 2022 with the initial concept designs presented at local events. If you are interested in learning more about the programme please contact hnyicb-ny.engagement@nhs.net
